Uniform

  • The following is a list of required school uniform:
  • Black Loose fitting school trousers (absolutely no denim or studs on pockets of trousers; No tracksuit bottoms or combats. No leggings, no harem pants, no skinny trousers, no chinos, no linen)
  • Knee length plain black skirts
  • Ecclesfield School polo shirt/sweatshirt (Students should not wear other non standard sweatshirts over their uniform. The only acceptable sweatshirt is the official school design with school logo)
  • Plain black polishable shoes. No sandals, no canvas, no Ugg style boots.
  • Plain black belt.
  • Tights  must be plain black or natural colour
  • No head gear  is to be worn in the building (except for religious reasons)
  • No caps on the school premises at all
  • Any garments worn underneath the uniform should not be visible. Polo neck sweaters are not permitted underneath uniform. Students will be asked to remove them.
  • Coats. We strongly recommend at least a water proof jacket.
  • A4 size School bag/rucksack- to include minimum a pen, pencil, ruler, planner and calculator.
  •   If students want to wear jewellery they can only wear
  • One small ring
  • One pair of discreet stud earrings.
  • Under no circumstances will facial/body piercings be permitted, if not removed the students will be sent home immediately and until further notice.
  •   Please note: Brightly dyed hair is not allowed Sufficient garments (e.g.  Polo shirts, sweatshirts, trousers) should be purchased to make sure uniform is worn even when some items are in the wash Please stick to our guidelines and be aware not all Department Stores Uniform range is in line with our policy.

  • English, Mathematics and Science
  • Physical Education
  • P.S.H.E. (Personal, Social and Health Education including Careers & Citizenship)
  • Art, Music and Drama
  • French, German or Spanish
  • Geography, History and R.E.
  • Design and Technology
  • Year 9 Design and Technology (worth half a GCSE)
