by Ecclesfield School, November 12, 2018

Hello Y11 parent/carer,

We’d like to tell you about a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity which your child can sign up for in summer 2019. National Citizen Service (NCS) is a government-backed programme, delivered by the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme. NCS helps young people build their confidence and gain new skills while having fun and giving back to their community – the best possible springboard for their future. In 2013 NCS gained UCAS recognition making it an excellent way to help your teen define their skills and experiences for upcoming interviews and university applications.

So, what is NCS? NCS Is a, four week, once in a lifetime opportunity that helps you build skills for work and life, while taking on new challenges and meet new friends. For detailed information, see below or visit; https://www.ncsyes.co.uk/what-is-ncs(https://www.ncsyes.co.uk/what-is-ncs) .
