Students from our KS4 Hospitality and Health & Social Care courses recently welcomed senior members of the local community for a delightful afternoon tea party.
The event was a wonderful success, with students showcasing their organisational, catering and interpersonal skills while hosting guests in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were also honoured to be joined by the Mayor, who spent time meeting students and guests throughout the afternoon.
Visitors enjoyed a range of activities, including bingo, a raffle, dancing and music, alongside a delicious selection of food and refreshments prepared and served by the students. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for different generations to come together, share stories and enjoy each other's company.
Our students were excellent ambassadors for the school, demonstrating confidence, professionalism and kindness throughout the event. The smiles, laughter and dancing on display made it a truly memorable occasion for everyone involved.
