Ecclesfield School is celebrating a strong set of GCSE results, with students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects. 

Compared with 2025, Ecclesfield School has achieved: 

  • Grade 9-7 results up by 6.7% 
  • Grade 9-5 results up by 11.1% 
  • Grade 9-4 results up by 1.9% 
  • Highest percentage of students achieving a Grade 5+ in English and Maths on record 
  • Best GCSE results since joining Minerva Learning Trust 
  • Record number of Grade 9s achieved 
  • Record number of students progressing to A-Levels, T Levels, apprenticeships or vocational study 

The results reflect the hard work, resilience and determination shown by students throughout their studies, supported by the dedication and expertise of staff, alongside the encouragement of parents and carers. 

Students have made excellent progress across the curriculum, with many achieving the grades needed to progress to their chosen post-16 destinations, including sixth forms, colleges, apprenticeships and other training opportunities. 

The results demonstrate Ecclesfield School's commitment to ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full potential and leave school equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in the next stage of their education.
